WHAT IS PSYCHOTHERAPY

Psychoanalytic psychotherapy is a modality that allows us to delve into the complexities of self. It offers a profound exploration aimed at understanding and transforming behaviour and thought patterns that may be stopping us move forward in our lives. By revisiting and reflecting on past experiences and feelings, we are able to gain insights that enhance our present circumstances in a safe and secure way. This type of psychotherapy prioritises a deep awareness of one's inner life fostering a safe and secure environment where transformation can occur, leading to healthier thought and behaviour patterns and a more fulfilled existence.

As a psychoanalytical psychotherapist in advanced training I adhere to the ethical code and practices of the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy and Jungian Analysts (UKCP).
